È trascorso più di un anno dal mio ultimo articolo. In mezzo è arrivato Giorgio. Così tra ciucci, pannolini e minuscoli body azzurri non sono più riuscita a scrivere una riga. Spero siate ancora interessati a leggere quanto scriverò perché ho tutta l’intenzione di ricominciare!

Gira e rigira. Provale una volta, provale due e alla fine…prese!!! Ho ceduto anch’io al trend delle scarpe fluo e ieri, dopo averci pensato un po’, ho comprato le Nike FREE TR5 Breathe. Oltre ad essere leggerissime, hanno una tomaia in mesh ultra traspirante per allenarsi anche quando fa caldo. Le scanalature esagonali permettono poi movimenti flessibili del piede e una camminata naturale.
Penso che aldilà della palestra siano portabilissime anche sotto un jeans e una t-shirt in una stressante sessione di shopping! Voi che ne pensate? Avete già ceduto anche voi all’acquisto?

Quando un giorno il mio collega me ne ha parlato, l’ho guardato perplessa ed ho pensato: “mah, sarà l’ennesimo attrezzo da cucina che compro ed infilo in qualche armadietto a prendere polvere!”.
Però ad essere sincera, il suo entusiasmo mi aveva incuriosita. Solo dopo aver guardato in tv la presentazione del Nicer Dicer Plus, condotta da uno chef americano che con grande agilità sminuzzava, tagliava ed affettava qualsiasi tipo di verdura e frutta, la curiosità si è trasformata in un “sì lo voglio!”.
Il prezzo in tv era piuttosto alto (circa €. 70,00), ma sapevo che su internet si poteva trovare a meno. Il mio collega, per esempio, l’aveva trovato su Amazon a €. 24,00.
Io, invece, ho trovato il Nicer Dicer Plus in quei banchetti di fiere locali, che vendono ricambi per cucina ed utensili di vario genere a €. 20,00! Ed è stato mio!
Ve ne parlo perché non credo di aver fatto acquisto migliore quest’anno! Lo uso praticamente tutti i giorni per preparare insalatone e fresche macedonie. Se prima ci mettevo un sacco di tempo a tagliare a rondelle le zucchine da far cuocere in padella, oggi, in pochi secondi e senza sporcare, è diventato facilissimo! E poi patatine a bastoncini, feta a quadratini e pomodori divisi in quattro! Un colpo secco e frutta e verdura sono pronte da essere mangiate!
A me si è aperto un mondo e voi ne avete mai sentito parlare? Fatemi sapere nei commenti qui sotto se già lo conoscete e avete qualche ricetta da suggerire!!

The discovery of the year!
When my colleague told me about it, I looked puzzled and I thought: “well, it will be yet another kitchen tool that I buy and I put in some cupboard gathering dust.”
But to be honest, his enthusiasm has me intrigued. Only after watching tv in the presentation of the Nicer Dicer Plus, carried out by one American chef who, with great agility crumbled, cutting and slicing all kinds of vegetables and fruits, curiosity has turned into a “yes I do.”
The price on TV was quite high (approximately €. 70.00), but I knew that you could find it cheaper on internet. My colleague, for example, had found it on Amazon for €. 24.00.
So, wandering through local fairs, I found the Nicer Dicer Plus in those stalls of kitchen utensils for €. 20.00! And it was mine!
I talk about it because I do not think I’ve done better shopping this year! I use it almost every day to prepare salads and fresh fruit salads. And potato sticks, tomatoes and feta squares divided! A blow dry and fruit and vegetables are ready to be eaten!

Purtroppo domani è solo giovedì, ma questo ritornello mi è rimasto in testa dal concerto a cui ho assistito ieri sera.
A Varazze (Sv), presso la Polisportiva San Nazario, è andato in scena un bellissimo connubio artistico di due grandi cantautori: Zibba ed Omar Pedrini.
Il primo, forse meno conosciuto al grande pubblico, ma di vibrante talento e con molti anni di esperienza alle spalle, ha vinto il premio della critica nella Sezione Giovani a Sanremo 2014 con il brano “Senza di te”. È, a mio avviso, la voce più potente e significativa della nuova canzone d’autore italiana.
Il secondo non ha bisogno di presentazioni: cantautore e chitarrista straordinario, l’ex leader dei Timoria spazia con una naturalezza indescrivibile dal suo repertorio a quello di grandi artisti internazionali.
Il concerto è stato aperto da Zibba con alcuni dei suoi pezzi più famosi tra cui “Senza pensare all’estate”, “Nancy” ed “Il mio esser buono”, scritta per Cristiano De Andrè. Il cantautore di Varazze ha poi ceduto il palco ad Omar Pedrini che, senza risparmiarsi e coinvolgendo molto il pubblico, ha cantato canzoni storiche come “Senza vento”, “Via Padana Superiore”, “Lulu'”, fino al bellissimo singolo “Che ci vado a fare a Londra?”.
Sentirli poi cantare insieme una canzone meravigliosa dei Timoria come “Colori che esplodono”, scelta dallo stesso Zibba per l’occasione, è stata veramente l’emozione che ha coronato la serata.
Vorrei concludere questo post esprimendo un desiderio: mi piacerebbe rivedere insieme questa coppia artistica d’eccezione, magari sul palco di Sanremo, con un inedito scritto a quattro mani …chissà che qualcuno leggendo queste righe non colga il suggerimento…a buon intenditor…
Tomorrow is Sunday already …
Unfortunately tomorrow is only Thursday, but this chorus has stayed with me in the head from the concert last night.
In Varazze (Sv) at the Polisportiva San Nazario, a beautiful artistic union of two great songwriters went to the scene: Zibba and Omar Pedrini.
The first, perhaps less known to the general public, but with vibrant talent and many years of experience behind him, won the critics prize in the Youth Section at Sanremo 2014 with the song “Senza di te”. He is, in my opinion, the most powerful and important voice of the new Italian songwriters.
The second does not need any introduction: singer-songwriter and extraordinary guitarist, the leader of Timoria sweeps with a naturalness indescribable from his repertoire to that of major international artists.
The concert was opened by Zibba with some of his most famous pieces, including “Senza pensare all’estate”, “Nancy” and “Il mio esser buono”, written for Cristiano De Andrè. The singer from Varazze then left the stage to Omar Pedrini, that tirelessly and very engaging your audience, sang songs as historical “Senza vento”, “Via Padana Superiore”, “Lulu ‘”, to the beautiful single “Che ci vado a fare a Londra?”.
When I hear them singing together a wonderful song of Timoria as “Colori che esplodono”, chosen by Zibba for the occasion, it truly was the emotion that has crowned the evening.
I would like to conclude this post with a wish: I’d like to review this exceptional artistic couple, maybe on the stage of Sanremo, with a new song co-written together!

Non era facile, in particolare per una donna, ma l’obiettivo è stato raggiunto. Anzi direi superato!
Le condizioni del concorso: una mini valigia, concessi non più di 30 lt….per una fuga di 5 giorni in vespa tra Langhe e Costa azzurra!
Tutt’altro che uno scherzo, ma dopo un’attenta riflessione su cosa portare e contro ogni previsione (tutti mi davano per spacciata) mi sono organizzata così: 4 magliette (la quinta addosso), un paio di pantaloncini, una minigonna di jeans, un copricostume, un costume, un pareo, un telo mare, tre cambi, un paio di Birkenstock, una felpa ed un paio di jeans (anche questi già indosso alla partenza), giubbotto di pelle, anti vento e pantaloni anti pioggia. Un beauty dove ho azzerato i liquidi ed ho inserito solo uno shampoo solido ed un fun di lush. Irrinunciabile il burro labbra protezione 50 dell’Erbolario: il rischio herpes ahimè è sempre in agguato.
Preparata la valigia (?!), indossato il casco, si parte con la mitica Vespa 300 Touring. La prima tappa è Barolo, le cui meravigliose vigne sono patrimonio dell’Umanità. Ci fermiamo a degustare un calice di Barolo dell’azienda Camerano e assaporiamo uno squisito brasato al barolo, presso il ristorante Rosso Barolo. È tempo di rimetterci in cammino, la prossima tappa è Limone Piemonte. Purtroppo dopo qualche km siamo costretti a rifugiarci sotto la tettoia di una chiesa sconsacrata a causa di un forte temporale. Dopo due ore, nonostante piovigginasse ancora, siamo montati in sella, con pantalone antipioggia (Decathlon) e ci siamo diretti a Limone Piemonte. Famosa località sciistica, Limone Piemonte merita di essere visitata anche per il suo grazioso centro storico. Molto carino l’albergo dove abbiamo soggiornato: Hotel L’Artisin. Comodo al centro, dall’aspetto prettamente montano, offre camere spaziose e una colazione ricca e buona! Il giorno dopo ci svegliamo di buonora, rimontiamo le sacche sulla vespa e dopo l’attesa di 20 minuti al valico del Col di Tenda, sconfiniamo in Francia, destinazione Antibes.
A metà percorso, all’incirca verso ora di pranzo, passiamo per un meraviglioso paesino di nome Sospel. Il suo romantico Ponte Vecchio e l’atmosfera che si respira ci fanno decidere di fare una pausa e goderci un succulento pranzetto in una brasserie. Sospel mi fa subito venire in mente il film Chocolat ed il fascino del paesino in cui era ambientato. La Côte d’Azur è ad un passo, inizia la discesa. Attraverso Nizza e Juan-les-Pins arriviamo a Golf Juan, dove abbiamo prenotato una stanza presso Le Bleu d’Azur, una bellissima villa ottocentesca, impreziosita da una vasca idromassaggio esterna che si può sfruttare anche di sera dato che l’acqua è calda ad ogni ora. Il simpatico proprietario, oltre a fornirci una mappa per il soggiorno, ci mostra la zona breakfast allestita all’esterno per la bella stagione.
La frizzante atmosfera della costa azzurra e la piacevole accoglienza turistica che riceviamo ci travolgono e ci fanno godere di tre splendide giornate tra Antibes, Cap d’Antibes, Juan-les-Pins e Cannes.
Il ritorno in vespa è tutto d’un fiato fino a Varigotti, dove abbiamo spezzato con un bagno ed un panino presso il mitico Chiosco Free Time di cui siamo assidui frequentatori. Il bilancio di questo bellissimo weekend è certamente positivo e la nostra vespa è stata super promossa!!

It was not easy, especially for a woman, but the goal has been reached. I would say pass!
The conditions of the competition: a mini suitcase, granted not more than 30 liters for a getaway …. 5 days in vespa between Langhe and the Cote d’Azur!
Anything but a joke, but after careful reflection on what to bring and against all odds (all gave me up for dead), I organized as follows: 4 T-shirts (on the fifth), a pair of shorts, a denim miniskirt, a cover-up, a bikini, a sarong, a beach towel, three changes, a pair of Birkenstock, a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans (even those already wearing at the start), leather jacket, anti-wind and anti rain pants. A beauty where I cleared the liquid and I added just a solid shampoo and fun of a lush. Indispensable Erbolario lip butter protection 50 the risk “herpes” is always lurking.
Prepared suitcase (?), Wearing a helmet, we start with the legendary Vespa 300 Touring. The first stage is Barolo, whose vineyards are wonderful heritage. We stop to enjoy a glass of Barolo company Camerano and savor a delicious braised in Barolo wine at the restaurant Rosso Barolo. It’s time to get back on the road, the next stop is Limone Piemonte. Unfortunately after a few miles we are forced to take refuge under the shelter of a deconsecrated church because of a severe thunderstorm. After two hours, we mounted the saddle, with rain pants (Decathlon) and we headed to Limone Piemonte. Famous ski resort Limone Piemonte is worth visiting for its charming old town. Very nice hotel where we stayed: Hotel L’artisin. Convenient to downtown, looking purely mountain, offers spacious rooms and a breakfast rich and good! The next day we woke up early, remount the bags on the wasp and after waiting for 20 minutes to pass the Col di Tenda, trespass in France, Antibes destination.
At the halfway point, roughly around lunchtime, we go for a wonderful village called Sospel. His romantic Old bridge and the atmosphere make us decide to take a break and enjoy a succulent lunch in a brasserie. Sospel just makes me come up with the film Chocolat and the charm of the village in which it was set. The Côte d’Azur is one step, it begins the descent. Through Nice and Juan-les-Pins arrive in Golf Juan, where we booked a room at Le Bleu d’Azur, a beautiful nineteenth century villa, with an outdoor hot tub that you can take advantage of the evening as the water is warm at any hour. The friendly owner also shows us the breakfast area set up outside for the summer.
The ambience of the French Riviera and the warm welcome tourist we receive overwhelm us and make us enjoy three wonderful days in Antibes, Cap d’Antibes, Juan-les-Pins and Cannes.
The wasp is back in one breath until Varigotti, where we have broken with a swim in the sea and a sandwich at the legendary Chiosco Free Time that we are regulars. The budget of this beautiful weekend is certainly positive and our super vespa was promoted!!!

4 ore e mezza l’attesa per sentirli cantare (purtroppo i miei posti non erano numerati).
2 ore e venti praticamente ininterrotte di concerto.
6 gli artisti o gruppi di artisti che hanno partecipato: a partire dai Dear Jack che hanno aperto lo show ai Tazenda, Francesco Renga, Bianca Atzei, Jarabe De Palo, fino al bravissimo Luca Ward che ha magistralmente presentato ciascuno dei Moda’.
10 il numero che Kekko aveva sulla maglietta, da vero Capitano.
2 ciascuno i toast che io e le mie due amiche abbiamo mangiato mentre ammazzavamo il tempo tra una chiacchiera e l’altra.
Infinite le emozioni vissute quella notte…che rivivremo a settembre in prima serata su canale 5!

Iniziano le vacanze: per qualcuno di noi sono già iniziate, per altri (ahimè) sono ancora lontane! In ogni caso il caldo o meglio la stagione estiva ( perché di caldo non si può ancora parlare) fa venir voglia di fragranze leggere, fresche e persistenti al punto giusto! Qualche settimana fa vi elogiavo la frizzante profumazione di Yves Rocher, LES PLAISIRS NATURE Eau de Toilette Lampone Bio, prettamente femminile ed ideale per chi ama profumi dolci e fruttati, ma di certo non adatta ad un uomo! Per loro, ma anche per chi, come me, adora quella sensazione di freschezza sulla pelle e sentore di luoghi magici della nostra terra, consiglio le acque di profumo. Ci sono svariate marche che si ispirano a profumi lontani che ci fanno sentire già in vacanza, come l’aroma degli agrumi di Sicilia, le inebrianti ed avvolgenti note del bergamotto di Calabria, la dolcezza mista a vitalità della Costiera Amalfitana…
Acqua di Parma con la sua linea Blu Mediterraneo ha aperto la strada a questa idea di profumo, ma anche Acqua dell’Elba si è ispirata all’isola e alla freschezza del suo mare. Altrettanto deliziose sono le acque di profumo che ho acquistato presso la profumeria l’Agrumeto a Panarea lo scorso anno, create in onore delle isole Eolie. Una spruzzata dell’Acqua di Panarea mi fa rituffare nei ricordi che conservo legati a quell’isola.
Insomma in vacanza o in città, le acque di profumo sono un modo per sentirsi bene con se stessi e godersi pienamente l’estate che speriamo sia alle porte!!!

Mare cristallino, atmosfera familiare: in certi luoghi un po’ decadente, ma dall’inconfondibile fascino del Sud.
La prima vacanza dell’estate 2014 l’ho trascorsa in Calabria, dove il sole, la cucina e i colori del mare la fanno da padroni.
Terra non sempre valorizzata purtroppo, ma che si lascia scoprire solo da chi ha veramente voglia di conoscerla e di coglierne il sapore autentico.
Ho così piacevolmente passeggiato tra le vie di San Marco Argentano (CS), borgo di antica storia della Provincia di Cosenza che vanta una torre normanna fatta innalzare nel 1048. Già da bambina, durante le vacanze estive, apprezzavo i prodotti delle sue colline: dai profumati agrumi, alle gustose olive, ai dolcissimi fichi che si scioglievano in bocca…odori e sapori che restano indelebili nella mia memoria.
Ho rivisto Diamante, con i suoi splendidi murales alle pareti delle case, l’insuperabile granita al cedro, l’isola di Cirella e la bellissima passeggiata.
Sono tornata a Cetraro, alle grotte di Rizzo, dove l’acqua è così trasparente da potercisi specchiare.
Ho visitato per la prima volta Tropea, indiscussa perla del mediterraneo, con le sue case appoggiate su maestosa roccia di tufo. Il bianco-farina della spiaggia contrasta con il verde smeraldo del suo mare…e li, accoccolati su una sdraio si può godere l’indimenticabile tramonto del sole inghiottito dalla bocca dello Stromboli.
Una settimana vola via in fretta, ma le emozioni che mi porto in valigia resteranno a lungo incise nel mio cuore. E concludo questo lunghissimo post con una riflessione: scoprire l’Italia è un piacere, ma anche un dovere conoscerla per saperla raccontare. E la Calabria merita di essere raccontata.

Sea, family atmosphere: in some places a little decadent, but the unmistakable charm of the South.
The first holiday I spent the summer of 2014 in Calabria, where the sun, cooking and the colors of the sea are fantastic.
Country not always appreciated, unfortunately, but that can be discovered only by those who truly desire to know and to grasp the authentic flavor.
I so pleasantly strolled through the streets of San Marco Argentano (CS), a village of ancient history of the Province of Cosenza made a Norman tower which boasts raise in 1048. Already as a child, during the summer holidays, I appreciated the products of the hills: from fragrant citrus, tasty olives, the sweet figs that melted in your mouth … smells and tastes that remain indelible in my memory.
I have reviewed Diamante, with its beautiful murals on the walls of the houses, unsurpassed granita cedar, the island of Cirella and the beautiful promenade.
I’m back in Cetraro, to the caves of Rizzo, where the water is so transparent that you can mirror.
I visited for the first time Tropea, the undisputed jewel of the Mediterranean, with its stately houses resting on the tufa rock. The white-flour beach contrasts with the green emerald of the sea … and there, squatting on a deck you can enjoy the unforgettable sunset swallowed by the mouth of Stromboli.
A week flies away quickly, but the emotions that i carry on suitcase will remain long in my heart. And I conclude this long post with one thought: to discover Italy is a pleasure, but also a duty to know to tell it. And the Calabria deserves to be told.
Forse non è la serata ideale per scrivere questo pezzo, considerando che fuori sta diluviando, ma dato l’avvicinarsi dell’estate ho pensato di condividere con voi questa delizia di stagione. Una spruzzatina dal tester e il tuffo nella stagione più calda dell’anno è stato immediato! La fragranza è golosa e acidula al tempo stesso e richiama il profumo dei lamponi appena raccolti durante le passeggiate estive nei boschi.
Oltre ad essere una vera e propria sferzata di energia, questo profumo apporta tutti i benefici naturali del lampone proveniente da Agricoltura Biologica. Io me ne sono innamorata! E voi che ne dite? Summer and Raspberries
Maybe not the ideal night to write this piece, considering that’s pouring out, but given the approach of summer I thought I’d share with you this season’s delight. A few days ago I was in the Central Station in Milan and I entered the shop Yves Rocher, motivated by the fact that I had to pick a necklace as a gift for my birthday. And browsing through the shelves I dropped the eye and then also the nose of this crisp scent: LES PLAISIRS NATURE Organic Raspberry Eau de Toilette.
A dash from the tester and the dip in the hottest season of the year was immediate! The fragrance is delicious and sour at the same time and recalls the scent of freshly picked raspberries during the summer walks in the woods.
